the service was super friendly and intuitive, the margaritas were delicious and the chips and salsa are great, too. cool outside area, definitely going back when there's a dj

Disappointing. The food is your standard not-really-trying-very-hard Tex-Mex stuff, the service was indifferent at best, and the blaring pop-country music made conversation almost impossible. The place is basically a bar with a restaurant added as an afterthought. Don't bother - you can get better Mexican basics for half the price at the burrito stand a mile or two back up Rt. 1.

This is by far the worst place to eat in the area. ordered sangria and was brought 4 very dirty glasses. then we had to almost pull teeth to place our order. the waters were all standing together playing with there phones. then they add a tip automatically to the bill. the food is sub par at the best. maybe if the owners stop changing the naME TO THE PLACE AND SELL IT TO SOMEONE WHO KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT THE RESTRAUNTS

This place had a great atmosphere. I can;t understand the dolts who are complaining that they can't hear the TVs. It's a family place- not a sports bar. And what sports fan needs to hear play-by-play commentary anyway? What do they do when the go to an actual game- bring a radio??

BEST MEXICAN FOOD EVER! it's even better than mexico. I eat a whole lot of mexican food and this is the best yet. Love their margaritas. I would definitelyrecommend the fajitas.

we visited this restaurant specially after hearing some raving about the food from our friends in princeton. Place was nicely lit and had a mexican charm. We were 10 of us and decided to hit the bar as there were TVs and Nets game was on. We requested the bartender to put the volume and he kindly refused saying that it is against management policy to have volume for the games. We had one mind of walking out, but decided otherwise. Unhappy that we were we ordered the drinks and appetizers. Place was fairly crowded with families and couples in the bar area. Staff was very accommodating in joining the tables for us at the bar. Their margaritas are to die for, food came with some fancy ass presentation. Great ceviche, but their ceviche is made with cooked seafood. Our food was spot on, great presentation and exceptional taste. Everything had so much of bold flavors. Mole chicken and Shrimp d'abla was mind blowing. Couldn't believe that we had a chef who came and checked on our food. Staff was way too attentive and kind. We spoke to General manager about the volume and he explained that the restaurant operated as a sports bar in past and that left a bad taste in all the families who visited, as there was lot of curses and "f" words thrown when the games were on and they didn't feel comfortable with the kids. Also, that they have changed their focus to the dining crowd and have a certified chef, who is trying make this a place for the families till about 10 pm. End of the day we didnt care about the volume, because we had a great time and also the chef was kind enough to send us some complimentary dessert.

Have been a regular here since the last few months after some friends who also live in the neighborhood had a great experience. The restaurant is always packed on weekends and has some great food.Their enchiladas are the best I have ever eaten. This is one dish I always order.Their blackened chicken is outstanding if you are looking for some spice kick..I was there last Saturday for dinner with some friends and as usual we had a great time. Our waitress was very friendly and professional. We also met the chef who came and checked on us..

My boyfriend have gone to the restaurant several times and enjoyed it, except for the slow service. Last Friday we went for a later dinner and some drinks. We asked to sit outside and waited for over 10 minutes for a server to even ask if we wanted a drink. Then we watched a table of 5 or 6 sit down, get chips and salsa, get water and then have their drink order taken. That was the last straw of us waiting. I went inside to talk to a manager and after waiting for a few minutes, Jose came over. I told him what happened and his response was "oh. ok". I guess the look that I gave him made him realize that I wasn't happy and he asked if the hostess sat us. I told him that she did and he stared at me. Never once did he offer an apology. I will not be returning and suggest you find elsewhere to eat.....

THE PLACE DOES NOT CATER TO THE SPORTS FAN. THOUGH THERE ARE TV'S EVERYWHERE LAST SUNDAY FOR THE PACKER V GIANTS GAME THE MANAGER WOULD NOT TURN THE SOUND UP ON THE TV'S CLAIMING THE SOUND OF THE TV'S HAD BEEN DISABLED AND THERE WAS NO WAY TO TURN IT ON. WHEN IN FACT OUR WAITER TOLD US US THAT THE MANAGER LIED SINCE OUR WAITER HAD BEEN THE ONE TO SET THE SOUND SYSTEM UP. THERE WERE ONLY ABOUT 30-40 PATRONS THERE AND HALF OF US LEFT DUE TO THIS FACT. IN FACT OUR WAITER LEFT RIGHT BEHIND US. BASICALLY THE MANAGER TOLD ME IN SO MANY WORDS THAT HE DID NOT CARE WHETHER WE LEFT AND THEY LOST MAYBE $400-$500 WORTH OF BUSINESS DUE TO NOT WANTING TO LET EVERYONE LISTEN TO THE GAME. FOR A PLACE THAT IS NOT DOING GOOD BUSINESS TO BEGING WITH, THEY SURE SEEMED TO US THAT NO ONE MANAGING THAT RESTAURANT IS BUSINESS SAVVY. IN ADDITION, THE DRINKS AND THE FOOD LEFT ALOT TO BE DESIRED. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK. R.I.P. "EL DORADO"

disappointed yet again.went there for the playoff game where they had deals for beer and appetizer for "NFL sunday" yet, would not turn the sound on for the game. Ended up leaving for home where i could hear the game. the bar was full of people wanting to hear the game, but they would not put it on. I suspect this place will not last too long.

Wow, what a cool place... Authentic, delicious Tex-Mex food at very affordable prices. I tried the chicken enchiladas and the beef empanadas, both of which were outstanding. They have about a dozen different sangrias. I've tried 3 so far, and am looking forward to trying the rest. They also have a large outside dining area witha tiki bar. It looked like they were getting it ready to open once the weather permits. Cant wait until the tiki bar opens.
