South Plainfield celebrates Labor Day with a full day of festivities! 5 K race, parade, street fair and Fireworks. The fun begins at 9 with the 5 K race / family walk, along the parade route. Then everyone meets at the middle school for live entertainment and a street fair style festival. The fun winds down early afternoon and the resumes after dinner for fireworks at Spring Lake Park.

Borough of South Plainfield Public Celebrations Committee Is Proud to Announce that Michael L. Santoro; asta Morretti, Joseph M. Belardo,
have been selected as this year's Honorary Grand Marshals of the 54th Annual Labor Day Parade to be held Monday, September 5, 2011. The parade starts at 10am.

The Parade starts on Maple Ave and then turns onto Hamilton ending at the High School Parking lot with a festival!
