This 4-piece band from Santa Barbara, CA, made their debut in 1986. To this day, their mellow, melodic folk-pop sound crowns them as one of the most successful alternative rock bands of the early 1990s, and now beyond! They parted ways in 1998 but have regrouped and are working on material for their first album in 15 years while they tour the U.S. Toad the Wet Sprocketnamed in honor of a sketch by the Monty Python comedy troupeis singer Glen Phillips, guitarist Todd Nichols, bassist Dean Dinning, and drummer Randy Guss.
