We have enjoyed going there for dinner but it was a major disappointment last night. The BBQ section has been totally eliminated and the shabu shabu section gone. Sushi was only 1/3 of what was usually offered and the hot buffet items looked like leftovers from lunch. Even with the drastic menu reduction, the price remains the same as before. Now, the place is an overpriced Chinese/Japanese/buffet restaurant.

i didn't expect much from a buffet restaurant, but the quality of the food at this place was surprisingly exceptional. this place had it all: shabu-shabu bar, bbq grill with kalbi ribs, hot food bar, cold food bar, soups, sushi bar (3-4 dozen variety rolls), seafood bar, vegetarian & fruit bar, and dessert & crepe bar. i filled-up on assorted sushi, tempura, ice cream, and blueberry & cream crepes. EVERYTHING tasted FRESH. and for a buffet place, that's not easy to do. i watched cooks refill foods when they got low. the king-crab and clams were piled-high. the sushi chefs were especially busy keeping-up with demand. waiters did a good job of getting our drinks and busing emptied plates. there was also a party with a DJ mixing-it-up in one of the side banquet rooms. comparable to other fancy buffet places but less costly. the bill for all you can eat, plus drinks and tip was worth the trip! we'll definitely go back for more. next time i'll hit the hot food and bbq bar before the sushi!

I am so happy that Deewan has opened near my home! My family and friends like to eat out at Indian resturants and we really enjoyed our experience. The food was very tasty and the service was also very polite. They had a wide variety of choices and also so new dishes that I have not seen before like the Dum Pocket Biryani. I would say the prices were similar to the other higher end Indian restaurants for dinner, but the buffet price looks really good for the amount of food that they mentioned. Would definitely come back here with guests as the place has a nice look and impressive entrance.

This was a nice spot to go for diner since we live near the Rutgers area. and even better was the large bar area! its nice to actually be able to get a drink at an Indian restaurant!
