There will be a big band benefit for Hurricane Irene Relief on Friday, September 23 at Soho, the restaurant at the La Quinta in Somerset. THE CENTRAL JERSEY HURRICANE IRENE RELIEF BENEFIT SHOW High In the Mid 80s, with Virgin Vinyl and High Maintenance! A music-packed night, to benefit local families, who suffered losses from hurricane Irene. With the cooperation of The Red Cross, we will be raising money to help our neighbors. Donations accepted at the door, upon entrance. There is no set price, to get in... please donate whatever you can. Doors open at 7:00 Each band is doing one long set. The first band, High Maintenance, is playing from 8:00 to 9:00. High In the Mid 80s is the 2nd band, and Virgin Vinyl will close the show. We hope you can join us, for a fun-filled night, and to show your support for your fellow New Jerseyans! Virgin Vinyl, High in the Mid 80's and High Maintenance, no cover, but generous donations will be appreciated! Many of us in New Jersey were very fortunate during Hurricane Irene and survived with little or no damage. That wasn't the case for thousands of others however. In many communities across the state, residents are still piecing together their lives after the storm left them without power & flooded, with their homes extensively damaged and many of their possessions completely destroyed. Virgin Vinyl would like to do something for those affected. We are postponing our Rock Out Loud Reunion show, and instead hosting a benefit concert to raise money to help in the rebuilding process. Please note that it will be Friday September 23, at 8pm, at the new club (Soho) at the La Quinta Inn & Suites in Somerset, as Rhythm's was devastated by the Hurricane. Virgin Vinyl will be joined by 2 other great bands, High In The Mid 80's and High Maintenance! All donations will benefit our neighbors with help from the American Red Cross.
